Our Journey
Helping the Average Person Define and Live a Good Life

We are told that happiness and meaning lie in obtaining more. More money, more productivity, more freedom, more stuff. This leaves us with the feeling that being average is not good enough.
The majority of us are average, by the numbers. We believe that average has to work for all us that fall into that category. Yet, we still feel we need more to be happy. We belive that happiness lies in contentment and security. We offer ideas that discect the numbers, decisions, and strategies that lead to making the average life a good one.
We dive into money, relationships, and economic descion-making in hopes of stimulating thought that leads to positive change greater than the drive for material success alone.

Does it ever feel like life is rigged against you?
When we compare our situation to others, it can make us feel like we are behind. It is easy to make things appear better than they are, but a look at circumstances, tradeoffs, and real costs, other people’s lives may not be as glamorous as they seem.
There are ways to live below the average in cost and have a higher than average quality of life. We have a needs problem today; where we conflate the things we want with what we truly need. A good life isn’t about maximizing your potential, it is about optimizing for the things that add the most value.
